Happy school year families! I am excited to work collaboratively with families and students. We will grow through reading and vocabulary. Our campus follows the pacing of TEKS Resource System.

TEKS Resource System Vertical Alignment for Parents
TEKS Resource System Year at a Glance

Accelerated Reader will be an integral part of our curriculum this year. Students should read 20 minutes every day at home. The best thing you can do to help your child is read with them or have them read to you as often as possible. Reading will help them in every subject!
Every week we will analyze our student targets and ask for your acknowledgement. Please sign AR Charts on Tuesday evenings.

Wordly Wise
Wordly Wise vocabulary lessons will include 10 new words every other week. Vocabulary homework will be sent home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tests are every other Friday. If there is not school on a test Friday, please check agenda for updated test day. It is usually on Thursdays.

This is the BEST way to ensure your child is completing their homework on time. WW (Wordly Wise) homework will always be due the next day. All teachers and students use the agenda as the primary communication tool.
