Mrs. McIver / 4th Grade Reading

Hello Weimar!  My name is Adrienne McIver and I am ecstatic about this upcoming school year.  I will be teaching 4th grade reading this year!  I have taught twelve years and cannot wait to begin my thirteenth year here in Weimar.

My daughter, Abby, will be in eighth grade and my son, Barrett, will be in third grade.  I have been a coach’s wife for fifteen years!  My husband, Ryan, is Weimar ISD’s new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.  You will find me and my kiddos cheering on our new favorite team and coach this fall most Friday nights! Go Cats!!!

I feel truly blessed to have this opportunity to teach in such a warm and inviting town like Weimar.  I look forward to seeing my own children grow up here as well as making a difference in the future of Weimar.

Howdy! My name is Karen, and I grew up in and graduated high school from Bellville and then earned a teaching degree from Texas A&M University. This fall will begin my 22nd year as a teacher.  My oldest daughter, Elizabeth, just graduated high school and will start college in Austin this fall while my youngest daughter, Mikayla, will start first grade at Weimar Elementary. I am so honored to join Weimar ISD as a Pre-K teacher and look forward to giving Weimar Elementary's youngest students a great start to their educational experience.

Hello everyone! My name is Kristen Janecka and I will be teaching third and fourth graders Writing at Weimar Elementary School.  I have recently graduated from Lamar University with a Bachelor in General Studies after taking courses online and attending Texas Teachers online.  My husband, Willie, and I have three sons, Wyatt, Grant, and Luke, and are expecting a daughter in November. It excites me to be able to teach in the hometown of my husband and the town we raise our children in.  I am very fortunate to be part of the amazing team at Weimar Elementary in educating and inspiring the youth of our town. This past year I worked as an inclusion assistant at WES, as I was finishing my degree, and working towards becoming a teacher. I have found that Weimar supports their school, teachers, and students, and I am proud to be a Wildcat. I believe every student who is willing to learn and grow will accomplish great things and succeed.  I envision that with my guidance and support, I will serve as a stepping stone for my students' on their path to success.
