"English as a Second Language" (ESL) Parent Night

Weimar ISD will be hosting a District ESL Parent Night on Monday August 6th from 5 - 7pm in the Weimar Elementary Library. Parents of English as a Second Language Learners are encouraged to attend. District staff and translators will be on hand to assist parents in completing required student paperwork, as well as, to discuss and answer any questions pertaining to their child's educational success.

"Meet the Teacher Celebration" for Weimar High School
"Meet the Teacher Celebration" for Weimar High is scheduled for Thursday, August 16th from 4 - 6pm. This is something new and exciting for the campus. An abundance of information will be shared, as students get to meet the teachers and become acquainted with their new learning environment. Students are asked to report to the WISD Cafetorium to begin their "Meet the Teacher Night" experience and receive their class schedule. ALL students are encouraged to bring their school supplies on this evening. For more information, please contact WHS office at


Freshmen & New Student Orientation
WHS will be hosting Freshmen and New Student Orientation on Monday, August 6th at 5:30pm in the Weimar High School Library. Parents and students are invited to attend this event, as pertinent information in regards to their student's high school career will be shared.
