High School Special Education/Intervention Teacher
Allow me to introduce myself....... My name is Cynthia Trojacek and I have been an educator for over 30 years. I graduated from Schulenburg High School and then earned my Bachelor's degree in Education from Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University.

My husband, Greg, and I have been married for over 30 years. We have 3 beautiful adult children, Jarad, Avery, and Ali. Our son blessed us this past December with a beautiful daughter-in-law, Robin. Our family continues to grow as our youngest daughter, Ali, will be marrying Drew (another blessing) this December.

Outside of my family, my interests include spending time with The Lord, officiating volleyball, serving at our church, outdoor activities, music, spending time with friends, and seeing new places. To know me is to know that I love The Lord; am diligent in my efforts to focus on the positive and build on that. One of my favorite sayings is "Character is what you are in the dark." One of my favorite scriptures is Matthew 12:33, "Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit." While I know that not one of us is perfect, I strive to find something good in everyone and build on that.

In 2014, I joined the Weimar ISD family (for the second time) as an academic interventionist. My responsibilities include Special Education Transition Specialist, A+ Credit Recovery Facilitator, and RTI (Response-to-Intervention) Instructor. I am located in the SWAG (Students With A Goal) Lab ~ HS Room #6. The SWAG Lab is open to all students as needed.

Mrs. Pam Cox, a paraprofessional, has been a tremendous blessing to the SWAG LAB this year. Together, we work to provide learning strategies, create assignment sheets, develop manipulatives, assist in preparing for assignments/tests/projects, and much, much more. Consider this an invitation to come visit our SWAG LAB. We would love to share this amazing experience with each of you. May you be filled with joy all the days of your life!
