Mrs. McIver

Hello families!  My name is Mrs. McIver.  I am so excited to have the honor to teach at Weimar Elementary!  Here is a little about me.

I was raised in Allen, TX and I graduated from the University of Houston.  This is my fifteenth year to teach and my seventeenth year to work in education (two years as a Campus Coordinator for Community In Schools).  I also have a BA in Psychology.  We moved here two years ago from the Gulf Coast area.  I have two kiddos.  Abby is a tenth grader at Weimar High School and is heavily involved in FFA. Barrett is a fifth grader at Weimar Jr. High and you can find him on the sidelines at football games as one of our Weimar Football Ball Boys.  My husband, Ryan, is Weimar’s Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.  Go Cats! We have been married for over 17 years.

Most Fridays you will find my kids and I cheering on our favorite high school football team and coach. I enjoy reading, crafting, spending time with my family, and watching movies.

I feel truly blessed to have a job that I love to come to each day.  One of the greatest gifts of being a teacher is the opportunity to experience the growth your student will experience this year.

Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have questions, concerns, or great news to share!  The fastest way to get a hold of me is the Remind app or email at amciver@weimarisd.org.
