Agricultural Science Teacher/FFA Advisor

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! I teach Advanced Animal Science and Principles of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources at WHS and Career Prep at WJH. I am also one of the advisors for Weimar FFA. Be sure to check out the Weimar FFA website (link below) for more information and to stay up-to-date on all of our upcoming events.

A little about me…I was raised outside of Bellville and attended Bellville High School. From there, I went on to study at Texas A&M University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science. During that time, I was very fortunate to have completed my student teaching here in Weimar. After that, I attended Texas Tech University where I received my Master’s Degree in Agricultural Education. While I absolutely loved my time in Lubbock, I hurried back to Weimar as quickly as I could and started working here last school year. I cannot wait to share my excitement for agriculture and FFA with each of you! Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns! Looking forward to another great year Wildcats!!

We are fortunate to have a student teacher joining our Weimar Wildcat Family this fall! Below you will find a little info about Ms. Nauman, our student teacher from Texas A&M University.

Howdy! I am a future graduate from Texas A&M University (Class of 2020) with a bachelors degree in Agricultural Science. Growing up, I was born and raised in a small town in Southeast Texas called Anahuac; in other words, I live in the land of mosquitoes and alligators. I have grown up around agriculture my entire life; with my family farming rice and raising market livestock, I have seen multiple aspects of the agriculture industry and what it has to offer for myself and others, especially throughout my FFA career in high school. I have always wished to pursue a career in education; however, later into my college career I discovered an agricultural education program and combined two of my favorite things: agriculture and education into establishing my lifelong career dream.
