Instructional Support

Parents and students are accountable for the learning of their students to the full extent possible during this extended school closure.

Teachers, counselors, and administrators will continue to be available for the duration of the school closure via email and Remind message. Teacher and staff email addresses and Remind codes can be found on the district website, schools, staff websites.

The district is working to meet all federal guidelines to tailor instruction for students with special needs. If your child needs support, please email the special education director, Amanda Turlington at

Packets and assignments are due every Friday. Should you wish to submit the packet electronically, please email the assignment to the classroom teacher. Students are required to complete all assignments and turn them in weekly. We promise to work together with everyone to continually evaluate and adjust the process to best meet everyone’s needs.

Grades 3-12 will be using Google Classroom to deliver educational content and materials.

You can access Google Classroom using a computer, tablet or cellular device.  Google Classroom has an app that can be downloaded to tablets or phones to make access easy.  To join your teacher's Google Classroom, look for a remind from your teacher.

STAAR and End-of-Course (EOC) Exams

This includes all forms and subjects of STAAR. TEA will provide guidance on graduation requirements as they relate to EOC assessments, and we will update seniors as information becomes available.
